Liz Pate, Master Aesthetician/ Face and Body
As a licensed aesthetician, Liz Pate, believes in helping her patients achieve healthy, balanced skin, while offering the best possible service for aesthetic enhancements. Her method of caring for her patients includes getting to know them by understanding their lifestyle and their personal skin health goals before making an assessment. Then, she offers the best plans and solutions for her patients’ needs so they feel confident in their own skin.Liz also knows first hand that most patients feel vulnerable and want guidance in their aesthetic choices. Growing up, she was fascinated with health and beauty, but suffered from skin issues that affected her self-esteem. As soon as Liz completed high school she began working as a nurse’s assistant while studying skin health and beauty. As she sought treatment and learned to balance her own skin health, Liz became obsessed with wanting to help others, not only in their skin, but in their wellbeing-seeing the beauty in themselves.
Soon, Liz began her esthetician career by obtaining her Advanced Esthetician License from the Toledo Academy of Beauty. Around the same time she began her phlebotomy career after graduating from Owens Community College. Balancing both for a few years - working at Mercy Health/St. Vincent Medical Center and in resorts and salons – Liz began searching for ways to marry the two fields of medicine and aesthetics. That’s when she found a master aesthetics program in Utah at the National Institute of Medical Aesthetics and packed her bags.
Now, with over 1,950 hours of aesthetics training, Liz enjoys working in the position she has always dreamed of at Brickell Cosmetic Center. Her treatments include: hydrafacials, PRP, Microdermabrasion, Spa facials/acne facials, Microneedling, E-two, Velashape, and Ultrashape. Liz has extensive knowledge with the following skincare lines: Obagi, Skinscueticals, and Colorscience.
When she’s not working, Liz loves spending time with family and staying active with Pilates and kettlebell classes. She even enjoys traveling annually for continuing education courses on a variety of work related topics including: the latest machines and techniques, health, skincare, chemical peels, etc. Being in an industry that is constantly changing, Liz wants to make sure she’s always giving the best and most effective treatment.
